On Dynamic Consistency in Ambiguous Games

چکیده

I consider static, incomplete information games where players may not be ambiguity neutral. Every player is one of a finite set of types, and each knows her own type but not that of the other players. Ex ante, players differ only in their taste for outcomes. If every player is dynamically consistent with respect to her own information structure and respects consequentialism, then players act as if expected utility for uncertainty about types. The result extends to α-maxmin expected utility preferences where players have the same perception of uncertainty but different attitudes towards it.

Dynamic system of strategic games

Maybe an event can't be modeled completely through one game but there is more chance with several games. With emphasis on players' rationality, we present new properties of strategic games, which result in production of other games. Here, a new attitude to modeling will be presented in game theory as dynamic system of strategic games and its some applications such as analysis of the clash betwe...

Time-Consistency of Interval Shapley Value in Dynamic Games

Interval Shapley value (ISV) was initially considered for static one-shot games in [1, 2]. In [3, 4] it was shown that the Shapley value in dynamic games is timeinconsistent. To satisfy time-consistency condition for the Shapley value it is necessary to introduce a new control variable, so-called imputation distribution procedure (IDP). The case with interval Shapley value for dynamic games was...

The Effect of Local-Indigenous Games and Neuro-Muscular Exercises on Static and Dynamic Balance in Obese Children

Background: This study aimed to investigate the impact of neuromuscular exercises (NE) and local-indigenous games (LIG) on the static and dynamic balance of obese children. Methods: Thirty obese children were randomly assigned to NE (n=15, mean age 10.47 ± 2.1 years, body mass index 29.15 ± 3.01 kg/m2) or LIG (n=15, mean age 10.67 ± 1.52 years, body mass index 29.45 ± 3.41 kg/m2) groups. Both ...

Ambiguity aversion, games against nature, and dynamic consistency

Several papers, adopting an axiomatic approach to study decision making under ambiguity aversion, have produced conflicting predictions about how decision makers would behave in simple dynamic urn problems. We explore the concepts of ambiguity aversion and dynamic consistency, with examples of dynamic games against nature. Basically, a malevolent nature puts balls into the urn, and a fair natur...
